Researcher / Program Manager.
The Open Source Application Foundation (OSAF) used a number of techniques to enable the open source community to help design Chandler Project, a Personal Information Management (PIM), software project. Chandler was designed for personal and small-group task management in hopes to provide a better future for managing email, messaging, and calendaring.
I led experiments and conducted 1:1 interviews collecting and analyzing different user’s journals, datebooks, and notes. The following shows examples of my analysis from journal entries and other notes from meetings etc. and my work at OSAF. This gives you an idea of my thought process while trying to create a better calendaring application.
